UWH GEO logo

In 2001 a new cycle of International Summer Schools in GIS began, promoted by UNIGIS International, coordinated by the European Masters in Geographical Information Science (EMGISc) consortia and organized by University of West Hungary, Faculty of Geoinformatics. Based on the success and experiences from the first three Geoinformation International Summer Schools (GISS) a new course will be organized in 2008.

Aims:

To give an overview of modern data acquisition, data processing and modelling methods related to 3D modeling in urban environments.

The study area is the historical town center of Székesfehérvár (Alba Regia), the town where Hungarian kings were crowned. During the summer school students can take part in keynote lectures, practical hands-on exercises and fieldwork.

Date: 23-29. August 2008. (Saturday to Friday)
