The main objective of this conference is to bring together educators, experts, students and interested parties for a discussion on the diffrerent aspects of SPACE and TIME in GIS and Remote Sensing. The conference will give opportunities to raise issues of

Venue 

Sopron is situated at the western boundary of the Carpathian basin, very near to the Austrian border. Its German name is Ödenburg. The distance from Budapest is 200 km, from Vienna and Bratislava is 70 km. The transportation from Vienna airport to Sopron will be managed on 5 (afternoon) and 6 (morning) September and 8 (afternoon) and 9 (morning). Sopron is a small, old town with dynamic changes in the last decades.

The conference will take place in the conference room of Hotel Pannonia (H-9400 Sopron, Várkerület 75. Tel: + 36-99-312-180) in the heart of Sopron, a few steps from its historic nucleus. The hotel awaits our guests with 62 individually designed rooms. Conference facilities: 200 person air-conditioned room, fully equipped with sound and video systems, slide and overhead projector, ISDN INTERNET access. Fee

We have been able to negotiate a very attractive full fee (400 Euro) that will cover all conference materials, coffee/tea, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner at the conference centre), excursion on 8 September and accommodation for three nights (6, 7, 8 September). The reduced fee (200 Euro) will cover only conference materials and coffee/tea.
