In 2001 a new cycle of International Summer Schools in GIS began, promoted by UNIGIS International, co-ordinated by the European Masters in Geographical Information Science (EMGISc) consortia and organised by University of West Hungary, College of Geoinformatics . Based on the success and experiences from the first two Geoinformation International Summer Schools (GISS) a new course will be organised in 2005. |

| Venue:
Székesfehérvár (Alba Regia – the town, where the Hungarian kings were crowned) is a nice, historical town with dynamic changes in the last decades. The distance from Budapest is 60 km and Lake Balaton is only 40 km away. The study area – Kisfalud - is located near Székesfehérvár. Prerequisites: minimum of two years of study at a university in a GI-related course, min. 10 ECTS credits of GI classes or equivalent study load, Windows experience, practical experience with any GI software products. The official language of the Summer School is English.
The maximum number of workshop participants is 60.
