The students will be enrolled into 3 thematic groups:

  • WG1: Remote sensing based monitoring of agricultural subsidies utilization
  • WG2: Sustainable land use planning and monitoring
  • WG3: Web GIS in public use and collaboration

If the number of registered members in any thematic group is less than 20 we will rearrange the topics to fit more to the expectations.

The project-oriented programme includes lectures in plenary session, methodological seminars, training sessions, fieldwork, work in computer labs and presentation on the lessons learned by students. Upon successfully completing the week-long course, 2 ECTS credits are given as an element of the European Masters in GIScience framework.
