GEO
was founded in 1972 as an academic faculty of the University
of Forestry and Wood Sciences operating in Sopron. The College
is situated in Székesfehérvár. Since
1972 the College has the B.Sc. level education in land surveying,
and since1975 in land management, too. The undergraduate course
of three years (six semesters) consists of 3,200 hours of
teaching, two-thirds of which is practical. Its forms are:
lectures, practicals (both individual and in small groups),
study excursions, field courses and workshops. The well-equipped
laboratories aid the educational and research work of the
departments.
