Welcome to Székesfehérvár

TRAVEL BY TRAIN TO SZÉKESFEHÉRVÁR

Trains run to Székesfehérvár from the “Déli Pályaudvar” (pályaudvar means railway station), but you can arrive at the railway station “Nyugati” or “Keleti” too.

If you arrive to “Keleti” you can take a red line underground (metro), and travel direct to “Déli” (or, you have to change line once, on “Deák tér” and with a blue line to travel to “Népliget”, it is a bus station, wherefrom the buses run to Székesfehérvár.)

If you arrive to “Nyugati” you can travel with a blue line under grand direct to “Népliget” (bus station). Another way is to travel to “Déli pályaudvar” (railway station), but than you have to change a line once, on “Deák tér”, and get off at the 6th stop.

Trains run quite frequently. Passenger trains, express and InterCity trains also stop in Székesfehérvár. (Note: for IC trains you need a reservation). The travel ticket costs about 532 HUF (see www.elvira.hu for more information).
